STCW Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting

 STCW Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Course is a requirement for those wishing to work at sea. This is one of the four modules under the STCW'95 basic safety training course. All seafarers are required to hold this certificate. Once attained this permits candidates to work on Cruise Ships, Super Yachts, Commercial Shipping and Offshore energies industry.

 

This course is needed for all crew. The STCW 2010 Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting course in in line with meeting the requirements laid down in, STCW 1978 as amended (Including STCW95 and STCW 2010) Regulation VI/1 and STCW Code Section A-VI/1 Paragraphs 2.1.2

Ability After Course:  On Completion of this course, a trainee will be able to keep a state of readiness and participate as a member of a fire party in the event of ship fire.
