STCW Personal Survival Techniques
STCW Personal Survival Techniques Course intends to equip people who go to sea professionally with essential basic knowledge and experience that can be applied to maximise their chances of survival in the event of an emergency.
This course is needed for all crew. The STCW 2010 Personal Survival Techniques course in in line with meeting the requirements laid down in, STCW 1978 as amended (Including STCW95 and STCW 2010) Regulation VI/1 and STCW Code Section A-VI/1 Paragraphs 2.1.1

Ability After Course: The Personal Survival Techniques Certificate covers the requirements of the 1978 STCW Convention and Code Chapter VI, Section A – VI/1 and the 1995 and 2010 amendments. On Completion of this course, a trainee will be able to survive at sea in the event of ship abandonment.
