The STCW Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities Training Course is a basic induction training course in safety procedures and accident prevention. The course objective is to familiarise personnel with the employment conditions and working environment on board merchant vessels.
Assessment is undertaken by question and answer throughout the course with group and individual discussion Teaching Methods Teaching and learning is developed through lectures, discussion and videos Course Description The course forms part of the mandatory basic safety training for all seafarers assigned safety or pollution prevention duties.
