STCW Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Course is a requirement for those wishing to work at sea. This is one of the four modules under the STCW'95 basic safety training course. All seafarers are required to hold this certificate. Once attained this permits candidates to work on Cruise Ships, Super Yachts, Commercial Shipping and Offshore energies industry.

On Completion of this course, a trainee will be able to keep a state of readiness and participate as a member of a fire party in the event of ship fire.
